Give the Gift of Generational Artwork

This gift card reserves one slot in the January, February, or March session of the “From Childhood” series, an ongoing series of drawings created in charcoal.

In this series, all drawings are drawn by hand in vine charcoal on fine art paper at 8 x 10 inches from photographs provided by clients/customers. I seek to create drawings of children in natural or outdoor settings and parent-child scenes. Drawings from this series depict full figures, focusing on capturing the moment of the scene rather than emphasizing highly detailed faces or portraits. While smiling faces are lovely, candid shots are preferred.

How It Works

1. Gifting Process

• Upon purchase, you will receive a digital reservation code via email within 48 hours, along with a physical gift card sent by mail.

2. Redeeming the Gift

• The recipient must visit www.sarahnightingaleart.com/redeem and use their unique code by January 31, 2025, to secure their reservation.

3. Creating the Artwork

• After redeeming the gift card, the recipient will submit a photograph. Once the photograph is approved, work on the drawing can begin.

• Drawings are completed in the order gift cards are redeemed. Depending on demand, drawing may not begin immediately if earlier slots are filled. The drawing process typically takes 3–4 weeks once started.

4. Receiving the Artwork

• The finished drawing will be shipped directly to the recipient between January 31 and May 1, 2025. (U.S. shipping only.)

• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or substitutions.

• Each code reserves one drawing and is non-transferable.

• Artwork remains the intellectual property of Sarah C. Nightingale and cannot be copied or reproduced without written permission.

• Failure to redeem the gift card by January 31, 2025, will result in cancellation, and no refunds or extensions will be granted.
